AVAD Bitumen specialises in the distribution of premium quality bitumen for surfacing of roads and highways.
Safeguarding the highest quality standards, an accredited laboratory continuously conducts tests at various stages of the refining process. Test results are established according to ASTM or alternative international testing methods and are made available to end-users.
These results must confirm the contracted product specifications.
At the refinery’s loading point, a final bitumen sample is taken, tested and tagged with a batch number. Facilitating identification and safeguarding uninterrupted product integrity, this batch number is marked on AVAD shipping crates, containing sealed bitumen bags.
